It’s been another busy month at Amory, with construction continuing to progress across multiple stages despite some challenging weather conditions earlier in March.
Carry on reading for a full rundown of this month’s on-site activity:
Works at the Green Street and Ripley Road intersection are tracking well, with electrical works underway. Once complete, crews will move on to line marking and footpath installation to further enhance access through the precinct.
Sewer reticulation is ongoing across Stage 1A, 1B and the Link Road, laying the groundwork for key infrastructure throughout the community. Meanwhile, construction of retaining walls in Stage 1B, 2A and 2B is now nearly complete, marking another milestone in the delivery of Amory’s early stages.
In early March, Cyclone Alfred brought 350mm of rain to the area, prompting a temporary suspension of works as a precaution. Thanks to Winslow’s proactive approach, the site was well-prepared ahead of the storm, with ESC (erosion and sediment control) measures implemented and closely monitored to protect the environment and ensure a smooth return to work once conditions improved.
